THE DAILY PIC (#1541): I caught this work by veteran painter Walter Robinson on Sunday at Owen James Gallery in Greenpoint, in New York.
Currently on exhibition at the Owen James Gallery is a unique “collaboration” between Charles Bukowski and the painter Walter Robinson. Working with Bukowski’s poem “The Bluebird,” Robinson has crafted a series of paintings that reflects a debauchery more and more prolific in our social network feeds.
Nicole Disser previews our Bukowski / Robinson exhibition.

We are thrilled to have our Elin Rodseth exhibition included in this round-up of the best exhibitions in Brooklyn:
"These are important combinations and complex relationships that dwell within our contemporary society, and they are often ones that are tentatively side-stepped, or deliberately overlooked. It is important for the artist to highlight these most important references to the world we both live in, and perhaps more importantly, the world we pretend to live in."
We are happy to be included in this focus on our little slice of Brooklyn, out now in the new issue of Re:Porter Magazine (for Toronto-based Porter Airlines, designed by Tyler Brûlé's Winkreative house):
